From faith to Perseverance

Most of us find it fascinating to watch a baby walk for the first time…parents eagerly wait for their little one’s first few mighty steps waiting to hold them in case they fall. Hence it’s natural for us elders to encourage them to walk more often.

Its how our God enables us to face each challenge in our lives. He very well knows that it is for our good and it’s always difficult to take the first leap.

However, He still wants us to do so, for our personal growth. He is always there, nearby to hold us in case we fall. As much as we take pride and joy in seeing our little ones walk successfully after their few attempts, our God takes joy in our success after each of our trials too…

For James 1:2 says
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything”
