By His Grace!

The other day I was listening to one of a sister’s testimony. Named Jubily. It was very encouraging, she comes from a Hindu background and she shared how she came to know about God. And the way He led her till this moment.

I was thinking on how she was able to go through all the trials and tests all alone? And I understood “By His Grace”.

When we think about the word Grace, we repeat it every now and then, but have we really tried to understand the word Grace? Many times we have understood it, when we went through difficult situations. But many times we casually use it without realizing the depth of His love hidden in it.

Grace is received by each one of us. But do we use it in the way we should? When people hurt us not knowing the truth, when we go through financial problems, sickness, adjustment problems in family life and so on? Are we able to use it the way it should be? We know the much familiar verse from 1 Corinthians 10:13.

The middle part of the verse reads like this ” who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able” And the last line of the same verse says “but with the temptation also make a way to escape that ye may be able to bear it”.

So God says, by His Grace we can face situations…because He doesn’t give that we can’t bear. When we look around and watch other brother’s or sister’s lives, we’ll realize ours is just nothing when compared to theirs.

When I went through hard situations in my life, I watched a dear sister in Bangalore church who is facing hard times in her life. I thought about how she is able to go through real tough time with a smile on her face? Being regular to the church’s meetings…her life taught me a lot. I do realize that many of us are going through tough times today. But as we read, it’s not more than we can bear. For each it’s different but everyone does have one or the other problem.

May God help us to go through, our problems by His grace. And help us to testify in the midst of the church for His glory.

And let’s take Isaiah 40:31 as a promise. God bless!
